maybe i am easily amazed, but as a mother its my natural right. today while aidens "Bagpuss" DVD was starting up he started to make up words to the music
"the stars are bright, the stars are bright, the stars are bright as gold"
i sat with my mouth open and stared at him.
he has made up lyrics to his baby einsten before but it is usually on the level of what is going on with the dvd, "this is a dancing blue crayon, this is a dancing blue crayon, and it is my friend"
after nap, snack is served, juice is on the table.. Bagpuss is on the request line again. this time its:
" the Skies are bright, the skies are cold, the skies are getting very cold"
i think my snack is stuck in my chest.

These are all the wonderful things my son Aiden does and says, I want to have these pages always, so when my memory isn't what it used to be, I can have this!
LOL - that ranks right up there with "It's a sunny day outside. Love is in the air!" What is Bagpuss??? LOL! Isaiah is into Power Puff Girls and sings that song along with them. When he doesn't know the words, he mumbles something else that in no way resembles the real lyrics.
ReplyDeleteBagpuss is a old tv show from england, robin used to watch it as a kid, its about a stuffed cat that comes to life and they sing songs tell stories etc. i got the dvd really cheap and aiden loves it. just do a google search on bagpuss, gives you the wiki on it :)
