aiden for the past couple of days has been saying something i have no idea where he picked up, every time he said i told him that was not something he should say, it was not appropriate.. i had no idea where he got it from, until last night..
(this is when we are watching an episode of Shaun the Sheep..)

aiden: TITTY UP, TITTY UP!

me: aiden you should not say that, titty is not a word you should say.

aiden: Oh.. its TIDY up, I meant to say TIDY...

me: yes, its tidy up...
(the episode was obviously about cleaning)

its aidens 5th Birthday!!! sad he is getting older, that he is not a little baby or toddler, even though he will always be my baby. but just to remind myself he is still my child, and a child, he still comes up with the greatest stuff. Yesterday..
me: (singing in a opera voice)..(badly)... Tomorrow is your birthday!!! You are going to be 5 years oooooold! You are going to be 5 yeeears ooold! ( about to start 3rd verse, when interrupted)
aiden: mom, you already said that twice.. im not interested!

and today.. we have ordered aiden his favorite meal for lunch.. cheese pizza. aiden is tucking into his pizza, and enjoying it the way a 5 year old can!
dad: is that just what the doctor ordered buddy?
aiden: no dad, it was pizza hut.


Happy Birthday my Angel! I love you so very very much.. You are my Sun, you brighten everything, and you always have.

soo the other day, aiden and i are discussing colours..
aiden: whats your favorite colour?
me: well, i like lots of colours, i dont have just one favorite, i like yellow, and purple and lavender...
aiden: and orange!
me: orange is ok...
aiden: and Aqua!
me: aqua is nice
aiden: yes, aqua is nice.. light blue is the Capital of Aqua!!

will have to write down something aiden said while we were visiting nana and grandad in England.
robin is dancing with missy in the living room, aiden walks in:
aiden: Daaaad! ( holds hand up to stop ) the crime scene is over!

apparently daddy's dancing was just to embarrassing. :p

while the kids were at my moms saturday...
Bella had apparently filled her pants... my dad says, 1.2.3.. Not it!
aiden says: 1.2.3 not it..
before my mom can get to bella to change her diaper, she runs over to aiden who is laying on the floor playing with his toys, and sits on his face..
aiden: Ugh Bella! You have a Disease!

going to try and remember a few of the things aiden has said/done over the past week, i know there are atleast 3 things i wanted to put down i here, but i can only think of 2 of them right now.

just now coming into the house, was on the phone with robin having a tab outside while bells is sleeping...
aiden: mom i'm trying to cook a cheez-it, but its not hot..
( this is where i stop him from putting the cheez-it into his mouth that he has been holding over the hot steam humidifyer, with Vicks Vapo Steam pumping out of it).

saturday night, its bed time, i had let aiden stay in bed with me thursday night because he had his "special dentist appointment" the next morning, which was his outpatient dental work for the cavities and apparent crown he needed, i let him stay in my bed friday night, because he had that appointment.. soo now its saturday night, aiden is stood at my bedside desperate to sleep in my bed again..
aiden: i want to sleep with you in your bed!!
me: aiden, mommy wants to sleep in her bed with daddy. mommy wants some mommy time in her bed..
aiden: *tears in his eyes*  BUT WHAT ABOUT AIDEN!!!!! I WANT SOME AIDEN TIME! I WANT SOMEONE TO SPEND SOME TIME WITH AIDEN IN MY BED!!! he then crumpled into tears...
so um yeah, i let him sleep in my bed..

remembered what it was he said. as we are standing outside Nebraska Furniture Mart, im getting ready to put missy in her carseat and aiden is holding onto her stroller while she was still in it..
aiden:  Baby For Sale! We got your Baby, right here! baby for sale!
me: isobelle is not for sale..

First Day of Preschool 2011

me: so what did you do today? did you colour?
aiden: Yeah, we coloured!
me: what did you colour?
aiden: makenzie's dress..
me: you coloured on makenzies dress!
aiden: yeah.. i mean no!  i coloured her dress, on paper, not for real..
me: did you colour anything else?
aiden: yeah we coloured shoes, and a shirt, and shorts...

ok so i am seeing her influence here, lol!

me: soo did you make any new friends other than Makenzie?
aiden: Yeah! Jack!
me: you made a new friend named Jack!
aiden: yeah, he's a naughty boy!
me: he's naughty?
aiden: yeah, he slapped me in my face!
me: he slapped you in the face!!! why did he do that?
aiden: because i was being naughty..
me: why were you being naughty?.
aiden: because jack wasnt sharing, he didnt share his toy, or his drink, he wouldnt do nothing!

so first day of school went pretty smooth then.... >.<
